Application Procedures

h) A list of the submitted sample works (directed by the applicant) in the order in which they should be viewed, including: title, completion date (unless it's a work-in-progress), total running time, viewing time, original production format, viewing format, and the applicant's role in the production. Applicants must submit work samples on DVD, 16mm, or VHS formats. No other formats will be accepted. Applicants may comment in writing on each sample’s relevance to the proposed work, and provide any contextual information necessary for the viewing of segments of longer pieces. PLEASE TEST DVD WORK SAMPLES IN MORE THAN ONE MACHINE TO MAKE SURE THEY WORK. IF IN DOUBT, SEND BACK-UP VHS COPIES.
i) Please indicate if samples should be returned to you and include a SASE. Make sure each work sample is labeled with your name and address.

 

Please do not submit additional materials, such as letters of reference and reviews. They will not be seen by the review panel.


The Jerome Foundation office is open weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. for people who wish to pick up work samples.
